computing distributor with a focus on LAN, WAN and Internet implementations
that integrate voice and data. As a technical distributor, Alternative
provides its customers with education and technical support services
to insure the quality and profitability of all of its resellers'
installations. The Company sells to a VAR base of about 3,200 customers
in the United States.
Alternative differentiates itself from competitors
by taking a consultative approach to providing its clients with
pre-sale and post-sale support services. The Company will conduct
seminars for VAR clients, accompany its clients on sales calls if
needed and assist in solution design and configuration during the
pre-sale effort. Included in the Company's value-added package of
services is certification training for Citrix and Microsoft engineers,
technical support and integration of system software and the more
traditional financial and fulfillment role of a distributor.
